StartProjectX was created to help homeowners, buyers, sellers, and real estate investors make better decisions without having to become real estate professionals themselves.

My experience with homes started long before I opened a brokerage. I’ve been involved with remodeling homes since 1988, became a real estate agent in 1998, opened my real estate brokerage in 2000, and became a general contractor in 2015.

Over the years, I’ve bought and sold homes in New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, Maryland, and Virginia. That experience has put me on different sides of real estate transactions—as a homeowner, buyer, seller, broker, and contractor.

StartProjectX is where I turn those experiences into practical tools and straightforward explanations.

The site covers four main areas: buying a home, selling a home, maintaining and improving a home, and real estate investing. You’ll find calculators, interactive learning tools, and educational guides designed to help you understand the numbers and terminology before making expensive decisions.

I’ve been underneath houses dealing with plumbing problems, worked through remodeling projects, negotiated real estate transactions, evaluated repairs, and sat on both sides of a closing table.

That doesn’t mean every property or transaction is the same. It means the information on StartProjectX comes from years of seeing what can happen when real estate, construction, and money intersect.
